Guangdong Dongcaiyuan Special Steel is advancing construction of a 300,000-tonne annual capacity special section mill in Qingyuan City.

The 377 million yuan project will produce marine sections and ultra-high voltage power transmission angles, targeting the shipbuilding and power infrastructure sectors. The first production line has completed construction and is undergoing hot commissioning, with a second line in the equipment installation phase.

Upon full operation, the facility is expected to generate annual output value of 2.8 billion yuan and contribute over 48 million yuan in annual tax revenue.
